Kayak at White Rock Lake
This 1,015-acre lake offers many fun things to do. With a 9.33 hike and bike trail, numerous picnic areas and fishing areas, White Rock Lake Park is perfect if you want to start off National Singles Week among nature.
The park is also famous for its kayak rentals—a singles kayak costing $16.99 per hour and a double costing $22.99 per hour. The lake also offers a concert paddle trip every Thursday, allowing you to rent out a paddle and enjoy live music around the lake. This three-hour trip starting at 6 PM costs $39.99 per person.
Pro tip: While it might sound fun to bring friends for this trip, it can be just as fun if you make this a calm, relaxing trip for yourself.

When: The park is open from 6 AM to Midnight daily. Its lake is open Wednesday to Friday from 10 AM to Sundown and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to Sundown.
Relax with Some Yoga
If you’re looking to do a healthy activity this National Singles Week, you should check out some yoga classes. If you’re tired of the typical, sweaty yoga studios, you can attend the yoga classes at Klyde Warren Park. Clear your schedule for September 15 and September 21st, as there will be yoga instructors at the Park on both those days. Remember to bring your own yoga mat!

Check Out the Texas Truck Yard
Grab a bunch of friends and stop by the Texas Truck Yard for their Philly cheese steak and variety of other dishes provided by their food trucks. The Texas Truck yard provides a fun and loud atmosphere with great live music, good food and lots of people. Quiet Time at the Fort Worth Water Gardens
The Fort Worth Water Gardens are a serene gem, located near the Fort Worth Convention Center. It is known to be an “architectural and engineering marvel” with a variety of water features, pools and fountains. This is a great place to end a week or day full of activity, as it is a soothing location where you can relax and reflect whether you’re alone or with loved ones. Remember to capture memories and photos of the beautiful architectural feats of this garden!
